The mansion stood like a character in its own right—grand, enigmatic. It was the perfect setting for the film the crew had come to shoot.
Production trucks arrived at dawn, casting long shadows across the dew-covered lawn. Inside, the crew transformed ornate drawing rooms into sets: cables snaked along antique carpets, and softboxes glowed against oil paintings and marble fireplaces. Outside, the gardens became a staging area, bustling with makeup artists. Between scenes, the cast sipping coffee and discussing character arcs. Despite the controlled chaos, there was a shared reverence for the setting—it elevated the production, adding texture and authenticity that no soundstage could replicate.
